ONLINE: Consent, Accountability, and Neurodivergence: A Two Part Series

Hosted by Wicked Grounds

Sun, Nov 1, 202611:00 AM – 1:00 PM💻 Online

How does Neurodivergence affect boundaries, grappling with hurt and harm (and discerning between the two), and accountability? In this participatory two part workshop, we will dive into these questions with case studies and real-life examples. --- How does neurodivergence affect consent – including mistakes, incidents, and violations? How does it affect boundaries, grappling with hurt and harm (and discerning between the two), and accountability at the personal, interpersonal, and community levels? In this participatory two part workshop, we will dive into these questions with case studies and real-life examples. We’ll look through a trauma- and disability justice-informed lens, and talk about common patterns, subjective interpretations, ascriptions, and communication-based on neurotypes, socialization, and lived experience. We will make space for embodied activities and create plenty of room for community members to share their experiences. PRESENTER: Adam is a community organizer, mediator, conflict transformation facilitator, kink and consent educator, and ongoing learner. Their passions lie at the intersections of disability justice, neurodivergence accessibility, trauma-informed care, consent, embodied somatics, harm reduction, and systems transformation. They desire to help people relate in safer, skillful ways that are trauma-, power-, and risk-informed. Adam has been an educator with several groups including The Consent Academy, advocating for consent from the individual level to the systemic. They do consent and accountability work in many contexts and community spaces, from organizing spaces to the sex+ world. Adam sees this work as intersectional, directly connected to the better, more liberatory world they want to live in. TICKETING: $60 suggested. We offer multiple price points, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance. Choose the level you can comfortably afford. https://forbiddentickets.com/events/wicked-grounds/6e0ca347f8 If cost is a barrier at any point on the sliding scale, please use the Volunteer List at the bottom of the listing to request a scholarship seat. ACCESS: This will be a live, online class offered through Zoom. To participate, you will need to download the free, basic version of the Zoom app before the class! This class will be recorded for distribution and available 7 days after through Dropbox. However, we recommend attending live to get the most out of your experience. One hundred percent of PLPN's proceeds will benefit three organizations: Project HOME – Gloria Casarez Residence - Providing housing and supportive services while honoring the legacy of Gloria Casarez and her commitment to Philadelphia's LGBTQIA community. Human Rights Campaign - Working to advance LGBTQIA equality and protect the rights and dignity of LGBTQIA people. Diving Deep Discovering and Voicing Erotic Desires

Hosted by Wicked Grounds

Nov 1–Dec 14, 20266:00 PM – 9:00 PM💻 Online

The first step in negotiating is voicing what we want. But many of us run into challenges: What do I want? As I figure that out, how do I feel safe talking out loud about my desires? This six week course is designed to help kinksters and other erotic adventurers get un-stuck around our evolving desires and how to ask for them. This work is perfect for anyone launching a new phase in their erotic journeys (or feeling stuck in an old phase). About Miriam Green Miriam Green has been in the public kink scene for over twenty years in the Austin, Houston, and San Francisco scenes. They teach a series of KINK 101 classes on the SF kink community, BDSM negotiations, and dating while kinky. They also are the owner of Wicked Grounds, San Francisco's leader in BDSM education and community building. How we'll engage The six week course will run live from November 1 - December 14, 2026. This class will include six total weeks of content and homework, three 90-minute live online group sessions on Monday evenings (all recorded for later participation if needed), and at least one half-hour individual consult with instructor Miriam Green. (Our class tiers include the option to add more consulting for your own journey.) Our three 90-minute live group sessions will be offered via Zoom on Monday, November 2; Monday, November 23; and Monday, December 7 - all at 6pm Pacific time. Sessions will be recorded for later viewing or for those who cannot attend the sessions live. Is this course for you? Do you get stuck when asked "what do you want in intimate relationships?" Are you uncomfortable telling partners about your desires and kinks? Have you been doing the same thing for a long time and want to find new routes to eroticism? Do you want a deep understanding of the physical and psychological responses you have to kink? Do you want to connect deeply with others? Then yes: this course is for you!
