Agree & pay
Once you're approved, pay by the month or the year right from your status page — or we'll send an invoice. Annual includes two months free. It's a one-off charge (nothing auto-renews); you just pay again to extend.

Go live
We build your sponsor card and it appears in the feed — clearly labeled — usually within a couple of days.

Renew or change
When your term is ending, pay again to renew, switch tier, or simply step away — nothing auto-charges. We'll send a short recap so you can see the value.
Our sponsorship principles
- •Community-friendly, tasteful brands only — gear makers, bars & clubs, events, educators, health, and community orgs.
- •Sponsors are always clearly labeled as sponsors. Never disguised as an event or as editorial.
- •We never sell or share user data. Cards are contextual (by city/region), never based on tracking individuals.
- •Scene reserves the right to decline or remove any sponsor that doesn't fit the community's values.
- •Privacy-first, always — the same standard we hold for everyone using Scene.

Tell us about your brand and which tier you have in mind. We read every application personally — usually within a couple of days. Once approved, you'll get a link to complete payment and go live.

Do you run banner ads or trackers?
No. Sponsorship is a single tasteful card placed by city or region. No third-party ad networks, no behavioral tracking, no pop-ups.
Can I target a specific city?
Yes — Community tier is single-city/region; Featured and Founding are site-wide. One-off placements can target a city or a moment (like Folsom season).
Who can sponsor?
Community-friendly brands: gear makers, bars and clubs, events, educators, health and sex-positive orgs, and community groups. We decline anything that doesn't fit.
Can we pay in GBP / annually?
Yes to both. Annual is a single payment (two months free) at your locked-in rate — it's one-off, not a subscription; UK sponsors can be invoiced in GBP.
