Speak to It is a series of community roundtables on kink history and experiences hosted by Daisy Wilde, @itwasdaisy. The goal of these roundtables is to bring community members together with small, facilitated gatherings where they can share their experiences and knowledge about the history of our local scene. Let’s piece together our memories, collaboratively. We will prioritize sharing stories and knowledge of Chicago's kink community.

If you’ve been in the community for a while, please come share your stories! If you’re newer to the community, please come listen respectfully and let’s learn from those who came before us.

Doors at 12:45, roundtable will begin at 1:05PM

you do not need to be a member of LRA to attend this event
If you do not have LRA's address already, please reach out to be sent it.
These roundtables will be held every other month on Sundays at 1PM, and will be announced as far in advance as possible.
Speak to It is a public forum - the stories shared here may be discussed outside of the room and may also be documented or archived by the Leather Archives & Museum or through online projects. If you choose to participate, please do so with the understanding that your contributions are part of a collective history and not a private conversation. While the stories people share may be collected and shared outside the group, their individual’s identity does not have to be shared. People can use a scene name of course, or can feel free to share without identifying themselves.
