Since school is back in session, we’ll be going back to basics this month. From 7:30 to 8:15(ish), we’ll do rope basics. Rope safety, basic types of ropes and when to use them, and basic principles of tying. From 8:15 on, we’ll do some demos of basic harnesses that can get you started on your rope journey. Some basic rope will be available to borrow, but feel free to bring your own if you’ve got it. If you're already into rope, bring some and do some public tying. If you're curious about rope, come out and ask questions. (If you're brave enough, volunteer for a demo.) This is open to the general public, so be aware that you may see non-scene folks there. With any luck, they'll be into it before the night is over.
