Several local bootblacks will be at Pride to hang out and help teach others about the fun world of bootblacking.
If you're experienced and want to help out or "brush" up on skills, bring your kit and come join us.
If you're new and want to know what bootblacking is, how to get a kit, and how it all works, then this is a great chance to learn from some of the best.
The rough plan is:
7:30-8:15 is kind of “lecture” with some basics of care and quick tips and tricks.
8:15-9:30 is “open shine” where folks can get some practice time in with our team of bootblacks lending a hand or word of advice as needed.
